Some friends says it’s the moon that’s almost full that makes those water signs in the zodiac a bit in a rattling mode. And I am one of those people.
Oh well, they blame it on my diet, again. Sigh. Do we always need to find someone or something to blame at just for satisfaction?
They said I am “masungit” lately. Temper easily triggered. Eh how I can’t be, at times they are the ones triggering my temper. They tease me. Hay.
To lessen my sentiments and temper, I decided to watch a movie last night. Watched Simpsons the Movie alone. Bought baked potato and a biggie ice tea at Wendy’s after the movie for my dinner.
Simple satisfaction.
Tonight, I cooked shell pasta with lots of tuna sautéed in olive oil and lots of garlic. That’s my dinner tonight and a part of it is my baon tomorrow for lunch.
Sandman is here again. *yawn*

Sandman Revisits
I really noticed with this diet that I am sleepy. Just awhile ago in the church, I was stealing moments dozing. I like the chapel where we go to mass, the priest isn’t boring, but Mr. Sandman is really much powerful lately.
A friend of mine explains that my body compensates with the energy lost through my diet via sleeping. Particularly in the energy my body USED to take and consume.
I avoid coming home in the province at weekends. It’s a place of sin to be honest. Mainly for 2 reasons: one is I can’t work on my personal projects like my really, REALLY overdue book illustrations because, there’s cable and I really get hooked up easily on the tube. Second, my Nanay cooks. She knew about my diet and somehow supports it. Take note: I said SOMEHOW. I explained it to her what I am allowed to eat. And yet, she cooks it in a not so traditional way. Example, the dish sinigang. We all knew that’s it’s just a pork or fish dish with veggies and boiled with flavor. This time she prepares it by somehow frying the pork in it’s own oil and including that same oil in the boiling process. Sounds delicious definitely, but at this time I am not suppose to eat it.
Sigh.
I guess, weekends in Bulacan should really be marked as my cheating day. If not only my Tatay will be leaving at the end of the month I won’t be coming home for awhile.
The struggles in the path of self-esteem and good health…

Lost in (Entry) Translation
I have been jumping from one situation to another. The diet isn’t an obstruction except that I missed journaling it and wiggling at night :( Then a lightning seemed to struck me while I was washing dishes… I should change format in blogging my diet.
Actually, I have been doing the format that idea. It just came too technically detailed. From now on, well, starting tomorrow Sunday, I am to write something in effect, like situations, events or anything noticeable or reflection of my personality and the people around me due to my diet.
Much interesting than noting what I eat and plan to eat.
There.

Day 23 (Monday) Entry
I am partly happy with my weekend. I stayed at my place and did this studies for a personal client. I’ll email it later when I get to my seat in the office. And my neighbor-friends cooked dinner, it’s adobo and they placed boiled eggs! Yehey!
My neighbors are such nice and supportive people Ü
Bad thing is, my Wacom Intuos doesn’t respond to Biggie, the 15” Powerbook ☹ It was frustrating but I have to move on. Tried all means, but it just ate up almost half my day. It was really frustrating. So I resorted to an old way of illustrating digitally –– via mouse.
I feel it going to be a looooonnnng week again. The office called for a re-group. Nanay will have an operation tomorrow. She wanted me to come along.
Day 23 Food Prep: 3 Eggs, JellyAces, pretzels, Chocolait, crackers and 2 wheat bread.
It sound a lot but the leftover will be my baon on Tuesday.
Breakfast: Nesvita and lots of water.

Day 19 Recap and Day 20-21 Entries
Friday wasn’t the nicest day even. Well, we didn’t get any explanation why we didn’t get our salary. I think it’s the check again. Oh well… I’m used to it. My neighbor has always been good to me and invited me for dinner. They had gourdon bleu… even if it’s chicken, it’s fried. They knew it isn’t allowed in my diet so they made boiled potato, boiled egg and some greens with vignigrette…
Yey! God is still good for blessing me such good neighbor-friends.
Boiled potato is good, with Chiz Wiz or perhaps even with salt and pepper. Hmmm… another meal idea. But I can’t store potato with a refrigarator! Unless I want to grow it with roots… hahaha. Oh well, I’ll find a way.
Slept by 930pm. I was awaken by a missed call and an SMS message from our client. Invitation for a night cap just across my place. Tempting… free booze or something… BUT I really am quite disappointed with him and the rest of his minions PLUS I am sleepy, I’d rather go with Mr. Sandman instead.
Peace and quiet.
I didn’t go home to Bulacan this weekend. So happen, my “Ates” contacted me and we’ll have a sort of get-together in late afternoon of Saturday. We went and met up in Robinson’s Manila. Ok, ok.. I felt I did a little cheating… here’s what I had:
Tofu Sisig – forgivable
Pork ear and liver Sisig – questionable
Sago and Gulaman – ek!
Sinigang na Bangus in Guava (ate the bangus belly and veggies) – passed
Ginataang Sigarillas – veggies, passed
Son of Dutch (milk tea with vanilla ice cream and dutch chocolate syrup) – ek!
As my self-punishment, I did not eat any sinful meal on Sunday. Back to my diet…

Day 18 Recap and Day 19 Entry
I notice I get hungry immediately when I don’t take eggs and bread/crackers for breakfast. Good thing I have a pack of Gummi Bears which I have to share by the way, aside from my Chocolait and/or JellyAces to the kids of my boss-friend.
I should always have spare. I always forget that. Or as Jose told me, put my name on the food so they won’t think it’s theirs. Hmmm…. I’m not quite comfortable with that ☹
I only have a handful of baon since I came from Bulacan.
I forgot to mention that a few days back. The ad for this product that I’ve been cracking my head with and been bothering my friends was somehow accepted by the client. I guess we just have to polish it…
Yey!
Friday… the 13th… oh well…
Day 19 Food prep: 2 Eggs, JellyAces, crackers, canned pineapple juice.
Breakfast: Oatmeal and lots of water.

Day 17 Recap and Day 18 Entry
The tuna for lunch was a little twist and different from the usual routine of eggs and crackers/wheat. May be I’ll think of some more twist with tuna.
Nothing unusual. Except that I really get sleepy earlier than expected. I missed wiggling again… sorry! My loss anyway. But some pants of mine are a little loose. Yey! But still, I have those love handles! Hay!
I am lazy in going to work. I was announced that starting next week we will be time based… like 9am-6pm. Well, before I was told that it’s via delivery based work… oh well… change is the constant thing in this world anyway. What’s new!?
I am going home to Bulacan to bring home some papers, do a little errand and to let my parents know I’m not coming home this weekend.
Day 18 Food prep: 2 eggs (1 is for emergency), JellyAces, Gummi Bears, Chocolait and crackers.
Breakfast: Nesvita and lots of water
